MCSE 2008: If you want to be one of the first to find out about the MCSE 2008, and become a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) on Windows Server 2008 you will find the relevant up to date information directly from Microsoft here. Stduents aiming for MCSE 2008, may have MCSE 2003 or may be new to the MCSE curriculum altogether. Transition certifications are available today for Windows Server 2003 certified professionals, while full certification paths will be available soon after the Windows Server 2008 product release. See our MCSE 2008 Exams page and our MCSE 2008 certification page.

The Windows Server 2008 certifications are part of the new generation of Microsoft certifications, which emphasize primary skill sets and job roles, providing a more relevant, flexible, and cost-effective way to validate core technical, professional, and architectural skills. While the new generation of Microsoft certifications is being rolled out gradually to align with new product releases, the classic Microsoft professional certifications will continue to be supported for as long as Microsoft supports the corresponding software.

MCSE 2008 Exams

If you are currently holding an MCSE 2003 certification you can do the Beta Upgrade exam, but the product (Server 2008) will only be launched in June 2008, and so it will be some time after that before the new MCSE information comes to light.
